Cynthia McGlothlin, MSN, WHNP is our women’s health nurse practitioner who specializes in urogynecology and works closely with Dr. Jeffrey McQueary, urogynecologist. With over 18 years of experience, she assists patients, walking with them every step of the way. As a nurse practitioner, Cynthia plays an active role in overall care.
Board certified through the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecology, and Neonatal Nursing Specialties, Cynthia received her bachelor of science in Nursing from Radford University, Radford, VA. She went on to receive her masters of science in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond. She is an active member of Society for Urological Nurses and Associates.
Her areas of specialty include: diagnosis and management of overactive bladder, urine and bowel incontinence, as well as pelvic floor disorder services including management of chronic pelvic pain, interstitial cystitis, pelvic organ prolapse, and sexual dysfunction. Cynthia is involved in all aspects of urogynecological care, from performing initial medical work-ups, treatment and post-operative care.
A native of Richlands, Virginia, Cynthia enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark and daughter, Katelyn.
